💡 What: Optimized event tag insertion logic in
hub/src/routes/events.tsto useDB.batch()instead of sequentialawait .run()calls within a loop.🎯 Why: To solve an N+1 query performance bottleneck where an event containing many tags would suffer from linear latency scaling due to repeated database roundtrips.
📊 Impact: Expected to reduce processing latency significantly for tag-heavy events by combining all tag/event_tag insert operations into a single network roundtrip.
🔬 Measurement: Verified functionality using unit tests and verified via code review. Can be observed in metrics for event ingestion latency as tag counts increase.
