Recently, I started encountering a Zoom ReCAPTCHA / bot-detection issue that prevents the bot from joining Zoom meetings. Instead of joining, Zoom shows a sign-in pop‑up with the following message:
“We detected you may be a bot. Automated bots aren't allowed to join this meeting or webinar and must use Zoom RTMS. If this was a mistake and you are a human, sign in to join the meeting.”
Because of this, the bot is no longer able to join meetings automatically and gets blocked at this step.
From Zoom’s documentation on automated meeting tools and RTMS, it seems they are tightening restrictions on non‑RTMS bots joining meetings directly.
Questions:
- Are other users of this project seeing the same Zoom bot‑detection / ReCAPTCHA behavior?
- Has anyone found a supported workaround or configuration change for this repository that allows the bot to keep working?
