Making progress on porting to python3, but need some help with the merging test

Hi there, just wanted to give an update on porting this project to python3 and the newest version of angr. Our fork is here

We have all of your existing test cases passing except for merge. I've filed an issue over at the angr repo here that describes our current problem in case they have any thoughts on it.

Was curious if you had any insight or thoughts on what we could do to get this test passing?
