MC-Milsim is a Minecraft mod that brings the realistic experience of modern military simulation (Milsim) to the world of Minecraft. Inspired by Squad, the mod focuses on team-based tactical combat, vehicle warfare, and immersive military mechanics.

🔧 Development Team

  • SchlangeGoto - Founder & Developer The visionary behind MC-Milsim. SchlangeGoto conceived the idea and drives the overall direction of the project. He writes the core concepts and outlines gameplay mechanics.

  • Thatsmarterguy - Co-Founder & Developer Joined early to shape the development of MC-Milsim. As a core developer, he contributes to coding the foundational systems and overall gameplay mechanics.

  • Stravido - Developer Also a dev helping/making a few features here and there, but still contributing and helping a good bit with the project when ever he can.

  • Milkychicken - Developer Works on additional features and game mechanics, contributing more to core gameplay systems. (He is a god dev, will make it big one day. Still says he does not know shit)

📚 Roadmap

The roadmap for MC-Milsim is focused on evolving the mod into a complete military simulation experience. Here are some of the key milestones:

pre Alpha: Core Features (planned for: 9.6.25)

  • Teams: Players are getting added to Teams (maybe manual Team selection)
  • Player Classes: Different roles with unique abilities and loadouts.
  • Spawning: Basic spawning at the HQ with getting the Class loadout.
  • Capture points: Capture points to win the Game.

Alpha:

  • Voice Communication: Seamless integration of squad-based voice communication.
  • Squad Management: Tools to manage squads, players, and roles effectively.
  • Large-Scale Maps: Expanding the world with military-inspired terrains.

Beta: Refinement & Polishing

  • Bug Fixes: Addressing community issues and bugs.
  • Feature Enhancements: Improvements to existing features based on player feedback.
  • Expanding Content: Adding more weapons, vehicles, and tactical equipment.

📬 Reporting Issues

If you encounter a bug, crash, or unexpected behavior, or if you have a suggestion for a new feature or compatibility improvement, please open an issue on our Issue Tracker.

To ensure your issue is actionable, please include the following where applicable:

  • A clear and descriptive title.
  • A detailed explanation of the problem or suggestion.
  • Minecraft version and modloader used (Forge/Fabric + version).
  • A crash report or logs, if relevant.
  • Steps to reproduce the issue (if it's a bug).

While we welcome feature requests, development is currently focused on completing core systems. Your feedback still helps guide the future of MC-Milsim!

How to Contribute:

  1. Fork the Repository: Create a personal copy of the repository.
  2. Create a Branch: For each feature or bugfix, create a new branch with a clear name.
  3. Make Changes: Implement your changes or improvements.
  4. Submit a Pull Request: Push your changes and create a pull request to merge into the main branch.
