GitHub sign-in access stays in Railway (SYNCIDIAN_GITHUB_ALLOWED_EMAILS). The app never stores that list. Joining the waitlist still only records the email.

How to admit someone

On the Railway service, set:

["Shangeeth95@gmail.com","someone@example.com"]

Commas and one email per line also work. The older SYNCIDIAN_GITHUB_ALLOWED_EMAIL variable is still accepted and merged. An empty value still means anyone can sign in.

After you save the variable, Railway redeploys and that GitHub account can complete OAuth (six-tap reveal on the landing page). Everyone else stays on the waitlist.

Admin helper

The operator Waitlist page cannot grant access itself. It builds the next SYNCIDIAN_GITHUB_ALLOWED_EMAILS value from the current environment list plus people you add, then copies it so you can paste it into Railway → Variables. Access applies on the next deploy.

SYNCIDIAN_GITHUB_ALLOWED_EMAILS accepts a JSON array, commas, or one
email per line so Railway can admit specific waitlist people without
opening GitHub sign-in to everyone.

The Waitlist page never writes the allowlist. It only builds
SYNCIDIAN_GITHUB_ALLOWED_EMAILS so operators can paste it into
Railway Variables after admitting someone from the waitlist.
