Run Locally

Follow the below steps to run this project locally

Clone the project

  git clone https://github.com/shaqeebakhtar/streem.git

Go to the project directory

  cd streem

Install dependencies

  pnpm install

Copy .env.example to .env

  cp .env.example .env

Update .env

Generate Google OAuth client ID credentials

Follow the mentioned steps - Create access credentials

Add http://localhost:3000 under Authorized JavaScript origins

Add http://localhost:3000/api/auth/callback/google under Authorised redirect URIs

Generate LiveKit Keys

• Signup on LiveKit
• Create a new project
• Go to Settings > Keys and generate your tokens

Generate Uploadthing Keys

• Signup on Uploadthing
• Create a new app
• Go to Settings > API Keys

Start the Docker container for Postgres DB (Make sure you have Docker Desktop running initially)

  docker compose up -d

Start the development server

  pnpm dev
