Windows performance optimization tool that removes bloatware and applies gaming/performance tweaks.

Requirements

Installation

  1. Download wintidy.ps1
  2. Right-click → Run with PowerShell (as Administrator)
  3. Or: powershell -ExecutionPolicy Bypass -File wintidy.ps1

Usage

  1. Close all applications
  2. Click "APPLY TWEAKS"
  3. Read and accept disclaimer
  4. Wait for optimization to complete
  5. Restart system

Important Notes

  • Backup your data before running
  • Some Windows features will be permanently disabled

Known Limitations

  • Cannot automatically reinstall removed applications
  • Some changes may be reverted by Windows Update
  • Revert function doesn't restore removed apps

Troubleshooting

  • Log file location: %TEMP%\WinTidy_Backup_[timestamp]\optimization.log
  • Use system restore if issues occur
  • Use "REVERT TWEAKS" to restore most settings
