v2.2

For questions, please contact Mark Claypool (claypool@cs.wpi.edu).

This repository contains the data from user studies on the effects of latency on game actions.

Directories are:

  • puckhunt - studies done with the game "Puck Hunt" - the action of selecting a target moving with kinematics. Studies have been done with a mouse and a game controller thumbstick.

  • juke - a study done with the game "Juke!" - the action of selecting a target moving with force-based physics. Studies have been done with a mouse.

For citing this work, please use [CER17] for the Puck Hunt mouse data, [Clay18] for the Puck Hunt thumbstick data, and [CCG19] for the Juke! data.
