Hi, I'm Shuangyue 👋

I'm a high school student learning software development through Android projects and open-source maintenance. I mainly work with Kotlin, Java, Jetpack Compose, Wear OS, and devices with limited memory or processing power.

你好,我是 Shuangyue,一名高中生开发者。我正在通过实际项目学习 Android 开发、Wear OS 适配与开源项目维护。

About Me

  • High school student and open-source learner
  • Android and Wear OS development
  • Kotlin, Java, and Jetpack Compose
  • Maintenance of useful projects whose upstream development has slowed or stopped
  • Performance and memory optimization for low-resource devices
  • Gradle and GitHub Actions build maintenance
  • Learning to use AI tools responsibly in software development

Featured Projects

Active rewrite · Original project

An Android translation app currently being rebuilt with Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and Material 3. The planned direction includes OpenAI-compatible translation APIs, offline dictionaries, translation history, and LAN device discovery and synchronization.

The rewrite is still in progress, so not all planned features should be considered stable or ready for daily use.

Community maintained · Community fork

A community-maintained fork of HeyWear for Wear OS. Maintenance focuses on API compatibility, low-resource devices, memory usage, build-environment upkeep, and reproducible GitHub Actions builds.

I am not the original author. The fork preserves the original project attribution and MIT license.

Maintenance in progress · Community fork

A lightweight third-party Bilibili client for Android watches, older Android versions, and low-performance devices.

The public fork currently remains close to its upstream project. Fork-specific build restoration, compatibility work, and maintenance are still in progress, so no stable fork-specific release is claimed yet.

Open Source

I enjoy keeping useful projects accessible after their original maintenance has slowed or stopped, especially lightweight applications that can still help users of older or low-resource devices.

When maintaining a fork, I try to preserve the original authorship and license while clearly separating upstream work from my own changes.
