Superseded by 740749d on main, which takes polars to 0.54.4 along with the three API changes 0.54 requires: &ChunkedArray lost its IntoIterator impl, DataFrame::new now takes a height argument, and the categorical dtype is constructed with DataType::from_categories(Categories::global()). The stale 0.44 pinning comment (a pyo3 links = python collision that no longer occurs) was rewritten at the same time.
