Your browser opens one connection per file and keeps almost nothing when that connection dies. Lose Wi-Fi at 90% and you start again from zero.
DLHub splits each file across several connections and writes progress to disk as it goes. A dropped connection, a sleeping laptop or a full restart costs you seconds instead of the whole transfer. On a large file over an unstable line, that is often the difference between finishing and never finishing.

- Windows — Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit. No separate runtime to install.
- Android — Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) or newer, ARM or ARM64.
DLHub is not code-signed, so Windows shows an "Unknown publisher" warning. That warning is about the absence of a certificate, not about anything detected in the file — but you should treat any unsigned installer with appropriate caution, from us or anyone else.
You don't have to take our word for it. Check what you downloaded against these hashes before running it.

How to check

Android warns about any app installed outside the Play Store. That is expected here and is not a sign anything is wrong.
- Download the APK
- Open it from your browser or Downloads folder
- If Android says "your phone is not allowed to install unknown apps from this source" → Settings → Allow from this source
- If Play Protect says "blocked this app" → More details → Install anyway
- Wait for it to finish, then tap Open
Why isn't it on Google Play? Google Play does not accept general-purpose download managers of this kind, so the APK is distributed directly. You only need to allow unknown sources once.
Is it free? Yes. No paid tier, no trial limit, no account, no email address.
Does it limit download speed? No. It uses as much of your available bandwidth as the source will give it.
Why is the Windows download so large? It bundles everything it needs, so there is nothing to install separately. The Android build is 6 MB because Android already provides most of that.
What data does the app send? Anonymous usage and health information so we can see whether downloads are succeeding: platform, OS version, app version, country, and counts of download attempts and successes. It does not collect your name, email, contacts, messages, or the contents of any file you download.
What permissions does it need? Storage, to write your files. Network, to transfer them. On Android, notifications so background progress can be shown. Nothing else.
