What

  • Show the product on the landing. New section right below the hero: the USDC mint account (82 bytes), fetched live from mainnet (cached 1 hour) and rendered with the existing accounts/hex_view partial in compact: mode — the mode whose comment already said "used by the landing-page hero" but was never wired after the U4 centered-hero refactor removed the old 2-column sample. Legend, field colors, and hover tooltips all work. If the RPC fetch or decode fails, the section hides entirely.
  • Builder credit in the footer: "Built by Jose Ferrer for the Colosseum Frontier Hackathon" — the About page already credited the builder; the footer only named the hackathon.
  • EN + ES locale strings for the new section.

Why

The landing described a color-coded byte visualizer in text without showing a single decoded byte. The hex grid is the product's clearest pitch — show, don't tell. The footer credit closes the attribution loop with moviendo.me, which showcases Solana Bytes as portfolio work.

Test

  • bin/rails test: 153 runs, 0 failures (graceful-degradation path exercised in test env where RPC is unavailable)
  • Verified locally: section renders with live mainnet data, legend + tooltips work, ES locale renders, footer link present

…in footer

The landing described a byte visualizer without showing one. Restores the
pre-U4 featured sample as its own centered section: the USDC mint account,
fetched live (cached 1h) and rendered through the same compact hex view as
the explorer — legend, colors, and hover tooltips included. Any RPC or
decode failure hides the section instead of degrading the homepage.

Also credits the builder in the footer (About already did; the footer only
named the hackathon), closing the moviendo.me ↔ bytes attribution loop.

EN + ES strings included.
