Hi there 👋

I'm Sonika, a backend engineer with 4 years of experience, mostly in Java. I work on scalable backend services, REST APIs, and search infrastructure, and I really enjoy the debugging and optimization side of things.

A good part of my work happens in the open. I'm an active contributor to OpenMetadata (300+ merged PRs), an open-source data platform, and it's been a great place to learn, working at real scale and getting my code reviewed by maintainers around the world.
