[Feature] Add native MiniMax Code (MCode) agent support via ACP

Summary

Please add MiniMax Code (MCode) as a built-in coding agent in Codeg, with native launch, session management, and multi-agent collaboration support.

MiniMax Code is an open-source coding agent from MiniMax. It already provides an Agent Client Protocol (ACP) entry point through mcode acp, making integration with Codeg's existing ACP infrastructure potentially straightforward.

Motivation

Codeg provides a unified workspace for AI coding agents. Supporting MiniMax Code natively would allow users to manage MiniMax Code alongside Codex, Claude Code, and other agents within the same interface.

While custom ACP agents are already supported, native integration would improve installation detection, configuration, session management, and consistency across Codeg features.

Official CLI Capabilities

  • Interactive agent: mcode
  • ACP integration: mcode acp
  • Headless execution: mcode exec [prompt]
  • Resume latest session: mcode --continue
  • Session picker: mcode --session
  • Account login: mcode login
  • Global login: mcode login --region global
  • Supports MiniMax accounts and custom API providers.

Requested Features

  • Add MiniMax Code to Codeg's built-in agent list.
  • Automatically detect an installed mcode executable.
  • Launch MiniMax Code sessions using mcode acp.
  • Correctly display conversation streaming, tool calls, and permission requests.
  • Reuse existing MiniMax Code authentication and model configuration.
  • Support model selection where exposed by ACP.
  • Support importing and resuming existing MiniMax Code CLI sessions where technically possible.
  • Integrate with Codeg's multi-agent delegation and @ mention workflows.
  • Support standard workspace and MCP features wherever compatible.
  • Document installation and configuration for macOS, Windows, and Linux.

Suggested Implementation

Since MiniMax Code already provides an ACP interface, I suggest starting with a built-in ACP agent profile that launches:

mcode acp

This could reuse Codeg's existing ACP connection and rendering infrastructure.

Historical session import and resume could be implemented as a subsequent step, depending on the session storage format and capabilities exposed by MiniMax Code's ACP implementation.

Thank you for considering native MiniMax Code integration!
