Problem
Production Sentry traffic shows visitors are still reaching legacy Sea Saba URLs such as:
/MainPages/DivePackages.htm
This route is not represented in the current redirect map and should not remain a dead/legacy path if search engines, old bookmarks, external links, or historical references still send traffic there.
Goal
Audit known historical Sea Saba .htm / legacy routes and add precise redirects to their current canonical equivalents.
Scope
- Inspect the repository's existing redirects and current route structure.
- Search the repo, analytics/Sentry breadcrumbs where available, sitemap history/docs, and any known legacy references for old
.htm URLs.
- At minimum determine the correct destination for
/MainPages/DivePackages.htm.
- Prefer exact one-to-one redirects over broad wildcard rules.
- Preserve query strings where the framework does so automatically.
- Avoid redirect chains.
- Use permanent redirects only when the mapping is clearly canonical.
- Do not invent mappings for legacy routes whose current equivalent is unclear; document them for owner review instead.
Validation
- Add/update redirect tests for each implemented mapping.
- Confirm no loops or chains.
- Confirm current canonical routes still resolve normally.
- Run the normal repo validation and relevant routing/e2e tests.
