[Feature]: Render Devin sessions in native chat #30791
Description
Problem or use case
Devin is already a first-class Orca agent almost everywhere — AI Vault scans its transcripts, Agent Session History lists it, resume works via devin --resume <id>, hooks report status, usage/quota tracking exists, and orchestration can dispatch devin workers. The one surface missing is native chat: NATIVE_CHAT_SUPPORTED_AGENT_LIST in src/shared/native-chat-agent-support.ts covers claude, openclaude, codex, grok, omp, opencode, opencode2, and zcode, but not devin. So a Devin session can only be viewed inside the terminal TUI — it cannot open in the native chat view, unlike every agent Orca considers chat-capable.
Proposed solution
Add devin to NATIVE_CHAT_SUPPORTED_AGENT_LIST and map it through resolveNativeChatTranscriptAgent to a new devin transcript agent.
Most of the substrate already exists:
- Transcript parsing: AI Vault already parses Devin's ATIF
.jsontranscripts (session-scanner-devin-parser.ts), discovered under<DEVIN_HOME>/transcriptsand (since Devin 3000.10.31)<DEVIN_HOME>/agent_logs, whereDEVIN_HOMEis%APPDATA%\devin\clion Windows and$XDG_DATA_HOME/devin/clielsewhere. A siblingsessions.dbsuppliesworking_directory,title,model, timestamps, and ahiddenflag the listing should honor. - ACP alternative/complement:
devin acpruns the CLI as an ACP (Agent Client Protocol) server over stdio, and Orca already has a structured ACP launch/dialect layer (src/main/acp/*) that native chat uses for OMP/OpenCode/Grok. If the Devin ACP dialect maps cleanly onto that path, it could provide structured turns, permission prompts, and streaming rather than transcript tailing — worth evaluating either as the implementation or as a follow-up.
Alternatives or additional context
- Status quo: keep Devin terminal-only in native chat (it still appears in session history and AI Vault).
