I have one year of hands on infrastructure experience with Linux systems, containerized services, networking, DNS, TLS, private access, and production operations.
Most of my work lives in the parts people ignore until something breaks - certificates expiring at 3 AM, a domain quietly landing on a Spamhaus blocklist, a backup nobody tested before it became the only copy. I find those gaps before they become incidents.
I have worked through real failures across DNS, TLS, proxy, firewall, container, application, and provider layers - not only clean laboratory setups.
I think in architecture, failure modes, access boundaries, and rollback paths. Changes should be minimal, reversible, documented, and verified after deployment. Administrative services stay private by default. Backups get tested before anyone calls them backups.
I use AI and automation to move faster, but I care about understanding the system, the reason behind a change, and what happens when it fails.
