TypeScript 7 drops the JavaScript compiler API that ts-jest loads, so #5 failed every API test suite. A TypeScript major needs ts-jest, the Nest build and Vite moved together, so it stays a manual upgrade like Node and Postgres. Minor and patch updates still come through the grouped PR.
