ACM-42873: Skip search aggregation when MultiClusterHub is missing

search-search-api and spam ENOTFOUND errors in the MCE console pods.

ACM-42873: Clear search request timeouts on failure

Cancel pending timeouts when pingSearchAPI or getSearchResults fail and
destroy the request on timeout to avoid duplicate rejections.
