Shell3D firmware

Open-source firmware for the Shell3D security pedestal — a physical enclosure for machines running local AI agents. Published by Sunnyday Technologies under the MIT License.

Contents

  • nfc-deadman/ — Zephyr RTOS firmware for the NFC dual-token boot lock (nRF52840). The agent refuses to start unless the cast-in DESFire credential is authenticated. Keys are customer-provisioned: Sunnyday never knows, escrows, recovers, or logs live customer keys (see key_store.c).
  • agent-hooks/ — reference hooks for integrating the deadman state with local agent runtimes (Hermes, OpenClaw).

Build (Zephyr / west)

west build -b nrf52840dk_nrf52840 nfc-deadman
