The .fsl_test_env/ virtual environment directory (33 files) was committed to the repository in the previous PR.

Changes

  • Removed .fsl_test_env/ directory from git tracking using git rm -r --cached
  • Added .fsl_test_env/ to .gitignore in the Environments section to prevent future commits

Virtual environment directories should not be tracked in version control as they contain platform-specific binaries and can be regenerated from requirements.txt or pyproject.toml.

Greptile Overview

Updated On: 2025-11-04 04:55:00 UTC

Greptile Summary

Removed the .fsl_test_env/ virtual environment directory (33 files, 593 deletions) from version control and added it to .gitignore to prevent future commits.

Key Changes:

  • Removed all virtual environment binaries, scripts, and configuration files using git rm -r --cached
  • Added .fsl_test_env/ entry to the Environments section of .gitignore (line 113)
  • Virtual environment can be recreated from existing requirements.txt and pyproject.toml files

This is a cleanup PR that follows best practices by keeping platform-specific binaries and dependencies out of version control.

Confidence Score: 5/5

  • This PR is completely safe to merge with no risk
  • Perfect cleanup PR that removes files that should never have been committed. The change only removes tracked files and adds a proper .gitignore entry. No code logic is modified, and the virtual environment can be easily recreated from existing dependency files.
  • No files require special attention

Pull Request Overview

This PR removes an accidentally committed Python virtual environment and prevents future commits by adding it to .gitignore. The virtual environment (.fsl_test_env) is used for test environment management as defined in src/fsl_continuum/test_env.py but should be generated locally rather than committed to the repository.

  • Adds .fsl_test_env/ to .gitignore to prevent tracking the test environment
  • Removes all virtual environment files and directories from version control
