Take-home insight

Cooling preserves a small exact bond dimension, so a no-QR bounded-rank MPS update removes the dominant general-purpose MPS canonicalization cost.

this optimized solution is basically irrelavant from tensorcircuit, and via the verifier standard should be taken as an illegal solution
