Personal Git, Neovim, Tabby, and zsh configuration.
Git, zsh, and curl are required. Run the bootstrap installer:
curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/sykuang/dotfiles/master/install.sh | zshThe script clones the repository into ~/.dotfiles, includes the shared Git
configuration from a machine-local ~/.gitconfig, and asks whether to install
the separate Neovim and zsh configuration repositories. Each repository is
cloned with only its latest commit.
The installer configures:
- Shared Git settings from
gitconfig; personal and machine-specific settings remain in~/.gitconfig - The optional Neovim repository at
~/.config/nvim - The optional zsh repository at
~/.config/zsh - The optional Tabby configuration linked from
tabby/config.yaml
When selected, the zsh installer configures the zsh and mise files. On macOS,
it prompts before installing btop when Homebrew is already available.
Existing files are preserved, and the legacy managed ~/.gitconfig symlink is
migrated to a regular file. The installer is safe to run again, and existing
repositories are reused.
Tabby must be fully closed before replacing an existing
~/Library/Application Support/tabby/config.yaml with the managed symlink.
