fluent support

This module doesn't seem to work with the fluent module.
Can fluent support be added? Or is there some kind of workaround available?
It seems to me that the url segment is not translated so the same url redirets to differtent laguages which makes it pretty useless in a multilingual environment.

Seems like there is https://github.com/arillo/silverstripe-fluent-misdirection/ module, works as redirect , but does not collect 404s
