Boot From Calc? #16

Hello, I was wondering if it is possible to boot the core from the calculator? my calculator is only returning errors, and I am not sure what is going wrong

If you mean you want to boot Linux without a USB drive (containing the Linux FS) attached...

You can transfer a compressed initrd to your TI-Nspire (via e.g. TI-Nspire Computer Link Software or N-Link), then point linuxloader2 to it by editing whatever LL2 script you're using. I'd upload an example, but my calculator's flash got corrupted :(

Alternatively, if you have a TI-Nspire CX (CAS) with Boot1 version 3.0.0.99 (hardware revision A thru V), you can use ControlX + nBoot to install a Linux image to your calculator's flash, which will then be coldbootable by said image's built-in copy of linuxloader2.
