Recreates #41 against main (its base branch was deleted when #40 merged, auto-closing it). Content is unchanged and was already Copilot-reviewed on #41 with no inline findings. Rebased onto main (the tool-count commit is now upstream).

Changes

  • Drop n8n from the headline tagline (converging competitor); feature VS Code.
  • Delete the n8n Automation Integration section + dead N8N_WORKFLOW_GUIDE.md link.
  • De-brand the HTTP/SSE header; add a Table of Contents.

Zero-regression

Markdown only; n8n compatibility preserved (examples + HTTP mode). Verified: 0 n8n refs in tagline path, 0 dead-link refs, 11/11 ToC anchors resolve.

Supersedes #41 · Confidence: high.

- Drop n8n from the headline tagline (n8n is a converging competitor in
  automations/Genesis); feature VS Code instead.
- Remove the dedicated 'n8n Automation Integration' section and its dead
./N8N_WORKFLOW_GUIDE.md link (the 'connect Taskade to 400+ apps via n8n'
framing positioned Taskade as a spoke of a competitor's hub).
- De-brand the HTTP/SSE section header from 'for n8n' to 'remote & custom clients'.
- Add a Table of Contents (444-line README) for navigation + anchor SEO.

n8n compatibility is unchanged (examples/n8n-taskade-mcp-workflow.json kept; HTTP
mode still works for any HTTP MCP client) — this is editorial positioning only.
Note: glama.json was NOT enriched — its schema only permits 'maintainers'.

Pull request overview

This PR updates the repository README to reposition Taskade MCP as the primary orchestrator (rather than emphasizing n8n), while improving navigation via a Table of Contents.

Changes:

  • Updates the headline tagline to remove “n8n” and instead mention “VS Code”.
  • Adds a “Contents” Table of Contents near the top of the README with links to key sections.
  • Renames the HTTP/SSE section heading to remove n8n-specific framing and deletes the dedicated “n8n Automation Integration” subsection (including the dead guide link).

💡 Add Copilot custom instructions for smarter, more guided reviews. Learn how to get started.
