Can confirm. Got same error from the original code, the read_chn.py provided by Xuanyiyiren works without errors, out-of-the-box. Thanks for this fix! |

The original codes give a error like this
TypeError: can only concatenate str (not "bytes") to strI add some modification, mainly use utf-8 to decode binary valuables to strings.
