Animations starting far behind on opening

Loving the app so far, animation is extremely smooth and looks great. Using an M3 air, all the closing animations are perfect. However when opening my Mac, the animation lags far behind, when my screen is fully open, the animation is only halfway through. Gets quite annoying after a bit as I need to wait for it to snap back after a second. Any way to resolve this issue? Tried changing prediction and ahead settings already but did not help.

Yes that's all due to the fact that the second the lid is closed, the computer goes to sleep. So by the time it's waking up, we're already up or halfway through the lid opening. It's also due to the fact that a snapshot cannot be taken before the computer wakes up during the opening. If you take the time to lock your mac before closing the lid, it will help since everything will already be ready by the time it's waking up. I could implement a feature that always keeps the latest snapshot taken, to be ready if the computer is closed before locking it.

I personally found that removing the hinge sound and vibrations helped a bit, since there is less to load.

Got it, I already removed the sounds and vibrations, but unfortunately still lags behind. I tried locking my screen before closing, but it still did not help. Other than that, loving the app though. Looking forward to the next update.
