Summary

  • add the model-invoked presales-with-docs skill for live, one-question-at-a-time client discovery
  • persist a discovery ledger with readiness and human approval gates
  • add a zero-dependency Decimal-based calculator for services, infrastructure, cloud, BAU, and timeline ROM ranges
  • generate separate internal and client-facing artifacts while keeping rate-card details private
  • include a synthetic end-to-end session, estimate fixture, and calculator tests
  • publish the skill in the README and bump plugin manifests to v0.6.0

Why

Presales needs a repeatable way to turn client goals, pain points, requirements, and scope into an auditable ballpark without presenting model-generated arithmetic as a commercial quote. The first POC is designed to run live with a client while a presales operator remains in control.

Impact

The skill asks exactly one client-facing question per turn, records confirmed facts separately from assumptions and unresolved items, refuses calculation when blocking information is missing, and requires a named human approver before marking an artifact ready for client discussion.

Validation

  • python3 -m unittest discover -s skills/presales-with-docs/tests -v — 7 tests pass
  • git diff --cached --check — clean
  • draft and approved artifact generation exercised with the synthetic fixture
  • Markdown links and JSON inputs validated

Linear: THA-6
