Thing Labs

We're a small team of developers working on revitalizing the Spotify™ Car Thing™

Projects

Below you'll find a list of projects we're currently working on:

  • DeskThing - Replacement OS for the Car Thing, allowing you to run custom web-based applications
  • superbird-tool - CLI Tool for flashing, dumping and modifying the firmware on the Car Thing
  • thingify.tools - A website to find and download various Car Thing related tools & firmware
  • Unnamed Superbird Connector - A WIP tool to return original functionality to the Car Thing after Spotify ends support
