Unable to run Microsoft Office 365 application shortcuts through Taskbar Groups

I create a taskbar group with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel included, but upon clicking on the icon for Microsoft Word or Excel from the taskbar, nothing happens. No other application nor shortcut has this issue, and I have tried through across several taskbar groups for these two applications. Am I the only one with this issue? Or is this a bug? How can I resolve? I am running the latest version of Taskbar Groups on Windows 11.
