Summary

  • recognize the TP-7 audio/MIDI product ID 0x8019 used by OS 2.5.7
  • continue recognizing 0x0019 for MTP and mass-storage states
  • include the newer product ID in macOS USB-owner diagnostics

Hardware verification

Verified on a physical TP-7 running OS 2.5.7 on macOS:

  • before: tp7 --json devices returned [] while macOS exposed the powered-on TP-7 as vendor 0x2367, product 0x8019
  • after: tp7 --json devices reports the device in audio-midi mode
  • after: tp7 --auto-connect ls --long /recordings switches it to MTP and lists recordings
  • after: downloaded and size-verified a 569,931,340-byte WAV

Tests

  • cargo fmt -- --check
  • cargo check
  • cargo clippy -- -D warnings
  • cargo test (41 passed)
  • cargo build --release

Adopts the upstream naming (TP7_AUDIO_MIDI_PRODUCT_ID, is_tp7_product_id)
over the fork's equivalent fix, keeping the fork's doc comments, ioreg test,
and protocol notes.
