This PR add a common
CODE_OF_CONDUCT(Contributor Covenant) that should be common knowledge, but would still be good to have as a reference, and updates theCONTRIBUTINGguidelines to be more strict.For
CONTRIBUTINGi have gone with the common conventional-commits style and adapted it to what i had practically used until now for this project.This should allow us to add tools like
git-cliffat a later date for automatic CHANGELOG generation, and then maybe even upgrade to userelease-plz(blog post) for automated releases (this tool actually makes use ofgit-cliff).fixes #693
