Median home value and median gross rent for all 58 California counties, based on US Census Bureau ACS 5-year estimates (2019–2023). Choropleth color scale, sortable data table, hover to see exact values.

Average ELA and Math scores (Distance from Standard), graduation rates, and school counts aggregated by county and city from CDE Dashboard Indicators (2025). Individual school locations (11,600+ public schools) can be displayed as colored dots based on their Dashboard rating, ELA score, or Math score. Filter by school level (Elementary, Middle, High).

Routes and stations for all major California rail and light rail systems: BART, Caltrain, LA Metro, Muni Metro, VTA, SMART, Metrolink, San Diego Trolley, Coaster, Sprinter, Sacramento RT, ACE, and 6 Amtrak routes (Capitol Corridor, Pacific Surfliner, San Joaquins, Coast Starlight, California Zephyr, Southwest Chief). Toggle individual lines, search stations by name.

Since CaliVibe accumulated a descent amount of statistical data, it made it possible to generate the data-driven summary of cities and counties, blending the statistical data with broadly known observations about the place.

Tech stack

React, TypeScript, Vite, MapLibre GL JS, Tailwind CSS. H3 hexagonal grid for climate data. Playwright for visual regression testing. Deployed on GitHub Pages.
