## Vercel Web Analytics Installation and Configuration
Successfully installed and configured Vercel Web Analytics for the ucharm Next.js project.
### What was implemented:
1. **Package Installation**
- Installed `@vercel/analytics` v1.6.1 using pnpm package manager
- Updated package.json with the new dependency
2. **Analytics Component Integration**
- Modified `website/src/app/layout.tsx` (root layout for App Router)
- Added import: `import { Analytics } from '@vercel/analytics/next'`
- Added `<Analytics />` component inside the `<body>` tag, after `<RootProvider>{children}</RootProvider>`
- Component is correctly positioned to track all page views and events
3. **Files Modified**
- `website/package.json` - Added @vercel/analytics dependency
- `website/src/app/layout.tsx` - Imported and added Analytics component
- `website/pnpm-lock.yaml` - Updated with new dependency lock information
### Build and Testing Results:
✅ **Build:** Successfully completed with Next.js 16.0.10 (Turbopack)
- All 25 static pages generated successfully
- No TypeScript compilation errors
- Next.js build completed in 18.0s
✅ **Integration:** Analytics component properly placed in root layout
- Component will track all pageviews and events across the entire application
- Positioned correctly inside the body tag as per Vercel Analytics documentation
### Implementation Details:
- Project uses **App Router** (app/ directory structure)
- Used appropriate import: `@vercel/analytics/next` for Next.js App Router
- Analytics component is placed in the root layout to ensure it covers all pages
- No existing functionality was disrupted
- Code follows existing project patterns and conventions
### Notes:
- The project's linter (Biome) has pre-existing formatting issues not related to this change
- The Analytics component will automatically initialize when the application is deployed to Vercel
- No additional configuration is required at this stage; Vercel will handle data collection upon deployment
