In any cpu-node (including the master node) we have two graphic cards:
lspci | grep VGA
02:00.0 VGA compatible controller [0300]: NVIDIA Corporation GK208 [GeForce GT 710B] [10de:128b] (rev a1)
08:00.0 VGA compatible controller [0300]: ASPEED Technology, Inc. ASPEED Graphics Family [1a03:2000] (rev 30)
And in a gpu-node:
lspci | grep VGA
02:00.0 VGA compatible controller: NVIDIA Corporation GP104 [GeForce GTX 1080] (rev a1)
08:00.0 VGA compatible controller: ASPEED Technology, Inc. ASPEED Graphics Family (rev 30)
81:00.0 VGA compatible controller: NVIDIA Corporation GP104 [GeForce GTX 1080] (rev a1)
In thi case of a gpu-node the scenario is quite clear, the nvida geforce gtx cards must be dedicated to gpu computing. But, how should I proceed with a cpu-node? should I install the nvida drivers? How could I configure a selectived configuration depending on the graphics demand?
