Close verified deliveries and keep in progress reserved for active work. Every original in-progress and open item was checked against full tracker records and merged/open PR claims, comments and acceptance criteria. Incomplete or ambiguous work remains open. Current stale assignments are released; historical claim identities remain provenance.

Status Before After
in_progress 9 2
open 2 4
closed 137 143
canceled 2 2
Item Old → new status Evidence
pm-github-closeout-attribution in_progress → closed #174, merged 2026-10-24T19:10:50Z, merge 1ec3a76: Explicit delivery claims select the implementing PR while mention-only context cannot hold it; ambiguous or unreadable candidates remain open with bound revision and merge-time provenance.
pm-github-sync-setup-artifacts in_progress → closed #173, merged 2026-10-24T06:01:04Z, merge f4c29e8: Restores workflow-owned setup artifacts before tracker publication and proves only authorized tracker/changelog changes are published.
pm-github-release-merge-wait in_progress → closed #172, merged 2026-10-23T18:18:26Z, merge 7a1d6e8: Workflow consumes tested duration-based wait helpers with a 60-minute floor, bounded timeout and one safe main refresh; metadata drift, conflicts and repeated advances abort.
pm-github-vhi6 in_progress → open Returned to open in the 2026-10-24 sweep: PR 174 reduces fixture duplication and raises the c8 heap limit, but explicitly leaves bounded coverage aggregation unfinished. No active work.
pm-github-cited-issue-adoption in_progress → closed #169, merged 2026-10-23T17:16:37Z, merge 1fec9f3: Citation adoption is explicit opt-in across CLI/SDK/workflow; bounded normalization and anchored ownership checks retain ambiguity refusals, structured identity and no-git idempotency.
pm-github-identity-collisions in_progress → closed #167, merged 2026-10-22T21:34:56Z, merge 313810a: Distinguishes explicit provider identities from copied examples, refuses ambiguous ownership and applies only approved scoped provenance repairs with an audited idempotent recovery journal.
pm-github-webhook-inbox in_progress → closed #165, merged 2026-10-22T13:58:05Z, merge 394129e: Authenticated deduplicated durable webhook hints reconcile against current provider state, preventing stale lifecycle replay; invalid signatures write nothing and polling remains recovery.
pm-github-rwq9 closed → closed Released stale terminal assignment; preserved closure and historical claim evidence.
pm-github-rv9m absent → open This sweep records complete tracker/PR inspection and linked whitespace verification. Two delivered records remain blocked by the SDK format guard pending an explicitly reviewed compatibility decision; claim released.

Blocked by the pinned SDK; owner compatibility decision pending:

  • pm-github-f1ev (in_progress): Verified delivered, but the repository-pinned SDK refuses all mutations with project_runtime_item_format_incompatible: existing linked-test update metadata requires format 2 while the consumer floor remains 2026.10.5. The prepared 2026.10.10 peer/manifest minimum change awaits owner approval; no safeguard or evidence was removed.
  • pm-github-2o9k (in_progress): Verified delivered, but the repository-pinned SDK refuses all mutations with project_runtime_item_format_incompatible: existing linked-test update metadata requires format 2 while the consumer floor remains 2026.10.5. The prepared 2026.10.10 peer/manifest minimum change awaits owner approval; no safeguard or evidence was removed.

Retained open after review:

  • pm-github-4a03: No implementing merged PR establishes full delivery of the recorded scope.
  • pm-github-4cuz: No implementing merged PR establishes full delivery of the recorded scope.
  • pm-github-vhi6: PR 174 raises the c8 heap allowance and reduces fixtures, but explicitly leaves bounded coverage aggregation unfinished; no active work.

Validation: package changelog generation/check, pinned strict tracker health with required merge drivers under isolated Git identity, changed-item history verification, independent original-history prefix checks, linked git diff --check, and public added-text/scope checks passed. Existing history records are unchanged. No production function changed, so source-function revert proof is inapplicable; mainline ancestry, acceptance and lifecycle/history checks provide the evidence.

Where strict health required it, the repository-pinned pm merge install regenerated the extension merge fence. Existing historical advisories are retained; no history normalization or repair was used. The pm-vcs text self-host archive is regenerated and independently checked when applicable.

The PR CI runs complete npm run release:check and bun run release:check (native just release-check for Rust). Final exact-head CI results are reported separately; pending, skipped and neutral review checks are not approval.

Commit: ae4f8f3b82e1141b720b7fb5fd42e48124b3831e. The sweep audit remains open with its claim released for orchestrator review. No PR is merged.

Summary by Sourcery

Reconcile project-management records so delivered work is closed, active work remains in progress, and incomplete or blocked items stay open for follow-up.

Enhancements:

  • Reconcile project-management item statuses with verified delivery evidence, reopening incomplete or inactive work and retaining only active assignments as in progress.
  • Preserve historical claim provenance while releasing stale assignments and recording the newly identified open work.

CI:

  • Document validation of release checks, tracker health, lifecycle history, and scope integrity for the updated project-management records.

Chores:

  • Add tracker and history records for the completed status sweep and its audit trail.

Reviewer's Guide

This tracker-only sweep verifies PM items against merged PRs, acceptance evidence, and repository history, closing proven deliveries, reopening incomplete or unsupported work, releasing stale claims, and updating append-only audit records and changelog placement; it does not change production functions.

Getting Help

The in-progress sweep closed delivered items with completed_at set to the
reconciliation time. Analytics that read completed_at as the delivery time
(cycle time, recall utility, burndown) then see work finish up to weeks late.
Each closure now carries the cited PR's merge time as completed_at; closed_at
keeps the tracker reconciliation time. Recorded with pm update --completed-at,
so the correction is an appended history event.

Orchestrator review of this sweep (done by hand; review bots here are rate-limited or not enabled):

  • Closures: 6 of 6 closure rows cite a PR that is MERGED, and the cited merge SHA equals the PR's actual merge commit (checked with gh pr view --json state, mergeCommit). 1 further rows only release a stale assignee on an item that was already closed.
  • Completion time: bd8f98e sets completed_at to the cited merge time on each closure (6 items), via pm update --completed-at (an appended history event). closed_at keeps the reconciliation time. Before this, cycle-time and utility consumers saw delivery up to weeks late.
  • Open items: everything not proven delivered stays open with its reason in the PR body. No production code changed.

Merging once CI is green on this head.
