Certify pm-rl on PM SDK 2026.9.29 and enable GitHub issue sync - #54
Conversation
Pin the current CLI SDK, pm-ops, and pm-changelog releases and copy the canonical pm-ops merge-driver launcher required by the new gate. Track the pm-github managed extension manifest without vendoring its installed source. Record the package-local PM work and live acceptance: 329 direct release tests pass, 100/100/100/100 source coverage, 14 linked bandit tests pass, npm and Bun imports of the packed artifact succeed, and repository-scoped GitHub import/sync dry runs plan zero writes. Link upstream pm-cli#1318 for the PM linked-test sandbox limitation.

Reviewer's guide (collapsed on small PRs)Reviewer's GuidePins pm-rl to the certified PM SDK/tooling release, updates the merge-driver bootstrap to the canonical and more failure-safe implementation, and activates project-managed GitHub issue synchronization through tracked PM metadata. Validation covered the direct release checks, linked recursive-training acceptance, npm/Node and Bun tarball imports, zero-case GitHub dry runs, and strict PM health; hosted deployment, publication, and full recursive execution remain out of scope. On CodeRabbit’s summary and full-review trigger receipt: exact head dd20d30 has passed Node 22/26 and CodeQL. The 329-test local release gate and package PM evidence are linked in this PR. I will inspect the substantive review when it arrives; the trigger receipt is not approval. |
|
On Sourcery’s guide, quota notice, and review receipt: the guide matches the SDK and managed-manifest scope. The review quota is exhausted, so this head has no Sourcery findings or approval. The PR stays open while the independent review gate is unresolved. |
|
Packed npm/Node and Bun 1.3.5 execution follow-up on the same dd20d30 artifact: both ran the identical two-generation contextual-bandit programme, promoted both generations, consumed 512 samples, and produced the same final checkpoint digest |
|
Cross-package release dependency: the canonical pm-ops 2026.9.26 launcher used here still lacks the hoisted broken-install guard being repaired in pm-ops PR #124. The local release gate passes this published template and the current checkout topology, but this PR should not be treated as full merge-driver topology certification until the canonical fix is reviewed, published, and consumed in a follow-up. This is separate from CI green and package coverage. |
|
On CodeRabbit’s edited exact-head summary and completion receipt: I read the completed dd20d30 review. It reports no actionable comments and covers that exact commit. Node 22/26, CodeQL, and the local 329-test 100/100/100/100 gate also pass. Sourcery’s quota, silent Gemini/Greptile, unpublished pm-ops hoisted fix, and package publication remain independent open gates. |
pm-ops 2026.9.28 (pm-ops#124) fixes the guarded launcher's omit-dev skip: it now checks every directory Node resolves pm-ops from, so a hoisted pm-ops with no package.json fails the prepare step instead of being read as an omit-dev install that silently skips the field-aware merge drivers. scripts/prepare-merge-driver.ts is the published template byte for byte, as test/prepare-merge-driver.test.ts requires. Tracker: pm-rl-1bpz (comment with evidence). release:check and changelog:check pass.

…ore, not the sync chore 29e11d7's tracker comment landed on pm-rl-1bpz (pm-github issue sync) because the commit step took the first item changed on the branch. It is removed there with a history message and recorded on pm-rl-hncb, the certification chore. pm-rl-hncb's acceptance criteria and its launcher link note now name pm-ops 2026.9.28, as CodeRabbit asked; the dated 2026.9.26 notes stay as history.
Pin the installed development CLI and SDK to the published 2026.9.28 release so the managed pm-github extension passes strict host-version checks. Replace the one-use integration fixture that installed the entire source tree with a real npm tarball install; the newer CLI correctly refuses incomplete directory scans. Record red-first PM evidence, a snapshot-linked acceptance test, complete 329-test release gate, 100% measured coverage dimensions, and fresh npm/Node plus Bun imports. Keep recursive controller and review gates open.

Twenty-minute exact-head review audit for 29c8242 (requests at 20:14 UTC, checked 20:34 UTC): Node 22, Node 26, CodeQL and local release/packed acceptance pass. CodeRabbit’s new full review was rate limited and Sourcery’s weekly budget was exhausted; Cubic and Sourcery checks skipped. Gemini and Greptile posted no response. I read, reacted to, and answered the available bot comments and resolved the addressed fresh-checkout finding. This PR remains open because missing substantive reviews are not approval; recursive training and package publication are separate unfinished work. |
Pin the development CLI and lockfile to the latest published SDK. Record the direct 329-test release gate with measured four-metric coverage, fresh packed npm/Bun functional acceptance, and the separate unshipped recursive LLM controller in the package PM item.
Link the published CLI 2026.9.29 functional registration and strict-health receipts to the package-owned certification item, while keeping the recursive LLM controller and review gates open.

Acknowledged and positively reacted to Sourcery’s exact-head response. The review budget is exhausted, so its skipped status does not supply substantive approval of 9fe6606. |
|
Acknowledged and positively reacted to CodeRabbit’s full-review trigger. I will inspect the actual review and every inline finding before treating this as substantive review evidence. |
|
Final exact-head review audit for 9fe6606 after the 20-minute response window: Node 22/26 and CodeQL checks pass; packed npm/npx and Bun/bunx acceptance plus the direct 329/329 release gate are recorded in the PM item and PR. Sourcery reports exhausted review budget; CodeRabbit reports its requested review failed; Greptile and Gemini provided no substantive review or inline findings during the window. I reacted to and answered every returned bot artifact. This is missing substantive review, not approval. The durable recursive LLM training controller remains open under pm-rl-apvf, so this PR stays open and unmerged. |

Exact head 9fe6606 is mergeable and CLEAN against origin/main with green Node 22/26 and CodeQL CI; all review threads are resolved. The bot review window was re-requested because CodeRabbit's prior full-review attempt on this head failed with an internal error.

…k label Cubic review found the tracked bun.lock still resolved the PM CLI, pm-changelog and pm-ops at 2026.8.1 while package.json pins 2026.9.29/2026.9.25/2026.9.28, and the v2026.9.28 release link was labeled as this candidate's SDK after the 2026.9.29 refresh. bun.lock is regenerated with bun 1.3.5 and the doc link now names the earlier heads. Full release:check passed 329/329 with 100/100/100/100 measured coverage and zero production audit findings.

Certify pm-rl with published
@unbrained/pm-cli@2026.9.29,pm-ops@2026.9.28, andpm-changelog@2026.9.25. The peer floor and fresh-checkout instructions reflect CLI 2026.9.29; npm and Bun lockfiles preserve that graph. The canonical published merge-driver launcher includes the ancestor-install fix.Owner: pm-rl-hncb. pm-rl-1bpz records managed GitHub integration. pm-rl-apvf still owns the unshipped durable recursive LLM controller; package certification establishes bounded adapter behavior only.
The host-bound mutation regression installs a real packed archive. Prior pushed-head packed npm/npx and Bun/bunx acceptance with CLI 2026.9.29 registered Grid World 3 and passed strict tracker health. Prior CLI 2026.9.28 results remain historical. Direct release:check and focused PM-linked tests avoid the known full-suite PM sandbox collision tracked in pm-cli#1318.
Earlier review threads are resolved. The silent npm-pack contract is retained; canonical probe changes remain upstream in pm-ops#135. Local validation, exact-head CI, substantive reviews, controller scope, and publication remain separate evidence.
Restart validation at
17f2d46c0f26279778412ca1250d0aaea15eddef: npm ci and direct npm run release:check PASS: 329/329 tests, zero skipped; independently measured statements/lines/branches/functions 100/100/100/100 across 20 sources; 136 documented declarations. Lint/duplicates/publish-attestation/identity audit/production audit/pack/changelog pass. Strict CI health, pm validate, Bun install and focused linked launcher test 6/6 pass. Red all-dependency audit found one high brace-expansion advisory; npm lock patch 5.0.9 to 5.0.12 now matches existing Bun lock, final audit zero and exact PM tool pins unchanged. Full gate ran directly because pm-cli#1318 affects PM full-suite sandbox; focused linked tests use PM. Durable controller remains unshipped in pm-rl-apvf. History prefixes preserved; exact-head CI and substantive review remain separate, item released in_progress, no closure or publication.Summary by Sourcery
