Repins this repository's gated issue sync caller to pm-github 2026.10.16 (tag 67a5e3e) and adds the daily gated closeout caller.

  • pm-github-sync.yml: the reusable workflow now resolves the default branch through the repository API, because schedule payloads carry no repository object (pm-github#131), and accepts npm-project-dir (pm-github#130).
  • pm-github-closeout.yml (new, from pm-github's docs/closeout-workflow-caller.yml): once a day, runs pm github closeout on the bot branch pm-github/closeout behind the same privacy gate as sync. It opens or updates one PR that closes items delivered by merged pull requests whose required head checks passed. npm-project-dir: ".", ci-workflows: "ci.yml".

Closes pm-rl-yb4q.

Summary by cubic

Repins the gated issue sync caller to pm-github 2026.10.16 and adds a daily gated closeout workflow.

Details

  • The sync caller now resolves the default branch through the repository API, because schedule payloads carry no repository object, and accepts npm-project-dir.
  • The new closeout caller runs pm github closeout daily on the pm-github/closeout bot branch behind the same privacy gate as sync, opening or updating one PR that closes items delivered by merged pull requests whose required head checks passed.
  • Settings → Actions → General must allow Actions to create pull requests for the closeout workflow.
  • Both workflows pin the same release (tag 67a5e3e).

Written for commit 3966af0. Summary will update on new commits.

…eout caller

The sync caller now pins pm-github 2026.10.16 (tag 67a5e3e), whose reusable
workflow resolves the caller's default branch through the API (schedule
payloads carry no repository object) and accepts npm-project-dir. The new
closeout caller runs the reusable gated closeout workflow daily: it closes
items delivered by merged pull requests on a bot branch and opens one PR.
