The review concern remains valid, but its primary category is functional correctness, not data integrity or integration. Separate proxies can retain stale values for the same cached exports object. A non-configurable, non-writable property can also make the stale get result throw a TypeError due to the Proxy [[Get]] invariant.
The current invalidation fixes mutations performed through the same proxy only. Share the cache between wrappers, or avoid caching mutable property values.

The interopDefault Proxy caches every property read and never
invalidates entries when the wrapped module mutates its exports.
After a read caches `undefined`, Object.defineProperty can add a
non-configurable, non-writable property, and the next read returns
the stale cached value instead of the target's value, which throws:
TypeError: Proxy handler's 'get' result of a non-configurable
and non-writable property should be the same value as the
target's property
Invalidate the affected entry in defineProperty, set, and
deleteProperty traps. The get trap and cache are unchanged.

Fixes #475.
Root cause
interopDefault()(#421) caches every property read in aMapand neverinvalidates it. When the wrapped module mutates an export, the next read can
return a stale value. For
Object.definePropertywith a non-configurable,non-writable descriptor this violates the Proxy
[[Get]]invariant andthrows:
This crashed Pi during the Datadog plugin's OAuth sign-in:
proper-lockfiledefines a symbol on the wrapped
fsmodule after caching a read of it(see #475).
Fix
Invalidate the affected cache entry in the
defineProperty, set, anddeletePropertytraps. Thegettrap and its cache are unchanged, so the#421 performance win is preserved.

#457 / #458 cover accessor caching and live bindings. This change is
complementary: invalidation happens on writes, independent of how the
gettrap treats accessors.
