Render the recorded reason consistently for terminal and step failures, including legacy strings, and explicitly identify missing details.Validation: lint; 1,411 runtime tests; 100 script tests (one existing skip); 136 web tests; production web build. This fixes failure presentation, not the underlying timeout. Held separately while the production acceptance baseline remains frozen.
