Docker’s published port can accept TCP while Nucleus is still replaying the restored store. The backup rehearsal launched preflight too early and rejected a valid archive with a terminated connection. Require a successful SQL
SELECT 1inside the isolated proof container before preflight.A regression with an open TCP proxy and unavailable SQL fails against the previous script and passes with the fix. The exact final release image restored all 352 production runs and 18,537 events with identical ordered-history digest and all five waiting decisions intact. Validation: lint, 1,412 runtime tests, and 103 script tests passed (one existing skip); all four GitHub CI checks passed. This changes operator rehearsal scripts only, not the application image.
