CHANGELOG entry for #5121 (merged 2abca27). Originally opened as a [RELEASE] PR, but #5427 ([RELEASE] transcript history gap) merged minutes later and its release builds from a merge commit that already contains #5121, so the quality snapshot slice ships in that version. This PR now only records the change under Unreleased; no second release needed.
