🚀 Getting Started (Windows - Easiest)

If you are on Windows, you don't need to install Python or know how to code!

  1. Download the latest release: Go to the bin-release folder (or your downloads).
  2. Open the folder: Look for the file named VidHealer.exe.
  3. Run it:
    • Hold Shift and Right-Click in any empty space in that folder.
    • Select "Open PowerShell window here" or "Open in Terminal".
    • Type .\VidHealer.exe --help and press Enter.

💻 Setup for macOS & Linux

If you are on Mac or Linux, follow these simple steps to get started:

  • Linux: Open your terminal and type sudo apt install python3 python3-pip.

2. Open your "Terminal"

  • Mac: Press Command + Space, type Terminal, and hit Enter.

🛠️ Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q: I double-clicked the EXE and it disappeared! A: This is a command-line tool. You must open a "Terminal" or "PowerShell" window first (see the Windows guide above) to see the beautiful interface!

Q: Where are my files saved? A: By default, they are saved in the same folder as the app. You can change this using --out "C:/MyVideos".
