Redis Counter Feature

WebPify includes a built-in conversion counter that tracks the total number of images converted. This feature requires Redis configuration:

Environment Variables

Create a .env file in the root directory with the following variables:

VITE_UPSTASH_REDIS_REST_URL=https://your-instance.upstash.io
VITE_UPSTASH_REDIS_REST_TOKEN=your_redis_token_here

How It Works

• The counter starts at 3500 if no previous count exists
• Each successful image conversion increments the counter by 1
• The current count is displayed at the bottom of the page
• The counter persists across sessions and server restarts

Setup Instructions

1. Sign up for Upstash Redis (free tier available)
2. Create a new Redis database
3. Copy the REST URL and REST Token from your dashboard
4. Add them to your .env file
5. Restart your development server
