- Open the Unraid Docker tab
- Click "Add Container"
- Set the repository to
ghcr.io/wildfirebill-ai/localai-code-editor - Configure ports (4801) and volumes
- Apply and start
A template is included in the repository at unraid/localai-code-editor.xml.
Install via Community Apps:
- Add the template URL to Community Apps settings:
https://raw.githubusercontent.com/wildfirebill-ai/localai-code-editor/main/unraid/localai-code-editor.xml - Search for "LocalAI Code Editor" in the Apps tab
- Click Install and configure paths
Or install manually:
- Go to the Docker tab in Unraid
- Click "Add Container"
- Set repository to
ghcr.io/wildfirebill-ai/localai-code-editor:latest - Configure paths and ports as shown above

Stage 1 (build): node:22-alpine
→ Install pnpm, dependencies, build all packages
Stage 2 (runtime): node:22-alpine
→ Only copies built artifacts (no node_modules)
→ Single bundled server file (index.cjs)

apk upgradeat build time - No npm bundled (reduces attack surface)
- Network-isolated by default
- No sensitive data in image layers
