Summary
dailyFish command that finds a sibling directory with adailyrecipe, with an explicit local override when discovery is ambiguous.<leader>ndto open today's note in the existing Neovim session. Both entry points enable the existing prose mode, with daily launches entering it atVimEnterbefore the initial screen draw; repository paths and note formats stay in local configuration.Commentary
Validated Fish syntax and isolated fixtures covering missing, unique, and ambiguous discovery, symlinked configuration, overrides, paths with spaces, recipe failures, and working-directory preservation. Headless Neovim checks covered dated paths, special characters, unsaved buffer reuse, local settings, and prose-mode startup; also verified prose mode with the installed Snacks plugin. Reviewed the diff for private paths and identifiers.
Verified with the full Neovim configuration that daily launches have prose mode active at
VimEnterand normal launches keep their usual layout.
