⚠️ Base branch must be dev. PRs targeting main will be rejected.

Summary

Auto-generated release notes can misattribute entries or drop the by @user line entirely. In the v2.34.6 release, a commit author named Hiroa | 拾雨 broke the |-delimited field parsing of the notes script and leaked the author email 2386319623@qq.com into a title, and contributors whose commits carry a personal email (e.g. QQ mail) never get attributed because the script guessed the GitHub username from the commit email. This PR resolves attribution from GitHub itself (the repo's merged PR list) instead of parsing git emails, and hardens the field parsing.

Type of change

  • feat: New feature
  • fix: Bug fix
  • refactor: Code refactor (no functional change)
  • docs: Documentation update
  • chore: Build, CI, dependencies, or other maintenance
  • style: Code style / formatting (no logic change)
  • test: Adding or updating tests

Changes

  • Resolve by @user from the repo's merged PR list with a single gh pr list --json number, author, mergeCommit call (squash commit SHA → PR number → author login), so attribution no longer depends on contributors' local user.email config; PRs whose squashed subject lost the (#N) suffix are still resolved through the SHA map.
  • Keep the commit subject (#N) as a secondary lookup, and the author-email regex only as a last-resort fallback for direct pushes — the regex now also matches new-style username@users.noreply.github.com addresses without the numeric prefix.
  • Separate git log fields with 0x1F instead of | so author names containing | can no longer shift columns and leak emails into titles.
  • Add pull-requests: read to the release job and GH_TOKEN: ${{ secrets.PAT }} for the gh CLI.
  • Fail soft: if the API call fails, emit a ::warning and degrade to the old email-based attribution instead of breaking the release; per-commit attribution state is reset between loop iterations.

Screenshots / Logs

Generated locally against real history for v2.34.5..v2.34.6 (the same range that produced the broken v2.34.6 release):

* fix: add Cache-Control no-store to plugin static files to fix WebUI caching issue by @hiroa-ai in #318
* fix(ws): improve reconnection logic and error handling in NapCatWebSocketClient by @OldTangyuan in #321
* fix(qq): stop sticker download failures and callback exceptions from dropping messages by @xxynet in #322
* fix(supervisor): stop child gracefully instead of killing it mid-shutdown by @OldTangyuan in #320
* refactor(entry): split main.py into supervisor and child modules by @xxynet in #323
* feat(agent): let read_file return images and transcribe audio by @xxynet in #324

Previously #318 rendered as 2386319623@qq.com fix: ... (email leaked into the title) and #320/#321 had no attribution at all. Also verified: direct pushes without PRs (e.g. 2f41547 in v2.34.2..v2.34.3) correctly render as * title in <hash> with no bogus attribution, and a forced API-failure run degrades gracefully with a ::warning and exit code 0.

Checklist

  • I have updated documentation if needed
  • New dependencies have been added to requirements.txt (if applicable)
  • If this PR introduces new features, they have been discussed with the owner or maintainer
  • This PR does not introduce breaking changes

Summary by CodeRabbit

  • Chores
    • Improved release-note generation to better attribute changes to merged pull requests.
    • Prevented commit author names containing special characters from causing malformed release notes.
    • Excluded commits without recognized pull-request associations from attribution.
    • Improved new-contributor detection and contributor-related release information.
    • Corrected full-changelog links to reference the current release tag.
    • Added safer fallback handling when pull-request information cannot be retrieved.

- Resolve "by @user" from the repo's merged PR list with one
`gh pr list --json number, author, mergeCommit` call (squash SHA -> PR ->
author login) instead of guessing the username from the commit author
email; the subject "(#N)" and a relaxed noreply-email regex remain as
  fallbacks for direct pushes.
- Separate git log fields with 0x1F so author names containing "|"
cannot shift columns and leak emails into titles (v2.34.6 notes bug).
- Reset per-commit state in the parsing loop, add pull-requests: read
permission and GH_TOKEN for gh, and degrade gracefully with a warning
  when the API call fails.

Walkthrough

The release workflow now retrieves merged pull request metadata, parses commits with unit separators, attributes release-note entries through multiple fallbacks, detects contributors through the shared email map, and cleans temporary files.

Pass the tag name through the shell environment.

A valid tag such as v$(command) matches the workflow trigger. GitHub expands ${{ github.ref_name }} before the shell parses the script, so command substitution executes inside the double-quoted assignment. The command inherits GH_TOKEN, which contains secrets.PAT.
