What it solves
WalletConnect V1 support has been sunset. So hardware wallet integrations are expected to break with the old code.
How this PR fixes it
Uses the upgraded wallet connection library web3-onboard instead of the bnc-onboard library that has also been sunset. Consequently, nvm upgraded from 14 to 16.
