Summary
Modernize Liquid Loom's fresh-project defaults and reference storefront around Shopify's current native theme capabilities while preserving the deterministic ownership, migration, and project-intelligence guarantees already shipped in

This PR does not force existing themes to migrate source or asset pipelines, does not change organized-source Shopify output identity, does not make preview Liquid syntax a stable dependency, and does not introduce a second storefront runtime.
Existing themes can continue using Vite, Tailwind, Sass, Webpack, PostCSS, or another asset pipeline while adopting Liquid Loom incrementally.
Roadmap
0.3remains the project-intelligence / preview-aware milestone implemented in #25.This PR implements the code and documentation foundation for
0.4 - Shopify 2026 platform modernization. Real Shopify development-store, Theme Editor, customer-account, palette, browser-event, and compiled-branch deployment validation remain explicit evidence gates before declaring the milestone fully proven.Validation
The PR is covered by unit/integration tests, cross-platform builds, Theme Check, package smoke tests, Dependency Review, CodeQL, and the existing Node canary workflow. Real-store validation remains intentionally separate from public CI so contributors do not need Shopify credentials.
